Can we bring food into the parks

Hi Cari! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Oh my goodness! You are going to "The Most Magical Place on Earth" this week! Are you SO excited?

I am happy to say that you can bring food into the Walt Disney World theme parks! I have avoided many meltdowns in the theme parks with my two little ones by taking in familiar snacks for them. An overly hungry kid can bring a screeching halt to a magical day! Being able to take out a snack to keep them busy and boost their energy was a lifesaver!

There are a few items you will want to avoid: alcoholic beverages, glass containers (except for small containers like baby food jars), and bags or coolers larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Security will need to check your bag prior to entering the theme parks, so putting food items in clear containers or baggies is a great way to speed that process up.

I hope this helps with your planning, Cari! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
