Hey there Lupe,
Welcome to planDisney and thanks so much for your question!
The good news is yes,
you are allowed to bring your own food and non-alcoholic beverages into Disneyland Park! This is something my family takes advantage of on almost every visit. Traveling with two young kids means snacks are basically a survival necessity, and being able to pack a few things from home makes a real difference, especially on longer days in the parks.
There are just a few things to keep in mind as you pack your bag. Glass containers are not permitted, so make sure anything you're bringing is in plastic, soft-sided, or resealable packaging. Loose ice is also not allowed, but you can bring a soft-sided cooler or insulated bag with ice packs to keep things cold. The Disneyland Resort also asks that you not bring any food that requires heating or has a strong odor that might affect other guests around you.
If you're bringing in a bag, it will go through a security screening at the main entrance, so just be prepared for that when you arrive. The process is pretty quick and the Cast Members are efficient, but it's worth building in a few extra minutes at the start of your day.
Once you're inside, there are also
lockers available near the main entrance if you want to store any extra snacks or supplies while you're out exploring the park. That way you're not lugging everything with you on every ride.
Of course, the food inside Disneyland Park is also fantastic - in fact the Disney Parks Blog recently posted a
Foodie Guide that covers the seasonal snacks and beverages for the Halloween season that all look delicious - but having your own snacks on hand is a great way to keep everyone fueled up between the big bites.
Thanks again for your question, Lupe! Have a Magical Day,
Greg
