Can I bring food inside the parks? I'm talking like sandwiches. snacks and drinks.

    Hi Vicky!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are planning a magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation and I'm happy to help you get ready for your trip! Guests are welcome to bring outside food and drinks into the theme parks provided they follow a few guidelines. Most importantly, you cannot bring any alcohol or glass containers into the theme parks. Plus, the cooler or backpack that you use to carry your goodies can have wheels and must be smaller than 24" (61 cm) long x 15" (38 cm) wide x 18" (46 cm) high. There are rental lockers available at the front of each theme park to store your backpack or cooler or you can choose to bring your belongings with you throughout your day. For a complete list of prohibited items, I recommend that you take a look at the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules.

I think bringing food and snacks with you to the theme parks is a great way to save some money for extra souvenEARs and Dole Whips. When I am traveling with my little ones, I always make sure to have plenty of snacks with me so that I am always prepared whenever someone gets hungry. Keep in mind when you are packing your snacks that you can get complimentary cups of ice water from the quick service restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort, which is a great way to stay hydrated during your busy park day!

Please let us know if you have other questions as you continue planning. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
