Dear Debbie,
The Disneyland Resort Park rules establish that guests are not allowed to enter the Parks with
outside food. Instead, there's a great complimentary picnic area right outside of the Disneyland Park Main Entrance for people to eat their meals before entering the Parks.
With that said, I will share that I've occasionally seen guests at
Disneyland Resort enjoying outside snacks and light food items.
Even I have taken fruit pouches and water bottles for my boys, in case they get hungry before we sit down for lunch or dinner.
In terms of folks with special dietary restrictions, those guests shouldn't have a problem. They are allowed to take outside food if they need to meet special dietary requirements.
On a final note, I know many times families want to save money by taking their own food but the Disneyland Resort has many unique
dining options that are agreeable to any budget!
If possible, I would keep an open mind to trying a famous Corn Dog from the Little Red Wagon on Main Street, U.S.A; a Turkey leg from one of the many food carts around the Parks or a delicious burger from the
Hungry Bear Restaurant!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel and have a Magical time!
