Greetings, Susan, and thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It’s great to have you hEAR!
Yes, you can bring food into the
Disneyland Resort! You’ll just need to keep a few things in mind when packing up – no glass containers are allowed inside the Resort, excluding small containers, such as baby food jars. Also, all coolers or backpacks must be no larger than 24” long x 15” wide x 18” high. You’re more than welcome to include re-usable ice packs to keep your food cold, but loose or dry ice is not permitted. Feel free to check the
Disneyland Resort Rules should you have any other questions about what may or may not be allowed past the security checkpoint.
If you’re looking for a comfortable spot to enjoy the food you’ve packed, I recommend stopping by the
Picnic Area, located just outside the Main Entrance of
Disneyland Park. Tables, chairs, and plenty of shade make this an ideal spot to relax and unwind after a busy morning in the parks! There are also
rental lockers nearby, so you can stash your picnic gear instead of lugging it around the parks with you afterward.
Once back inside the parks, don’t forget to ask for complimentary cups of ice water at any
quick-service restaurant. This is the perfect way to stay hydrated while playing in the warm California sun!
Please stop by with any additional questions you have as you continue planning your dream Disney getaway… I’m all EARs!
