Hi Kimberly! Welcome to planDisney!
It is almost time to make your way to the Walt Disney World Resort! Yay! I'm not sure what your theme park plans are, but no matter which of the four theme parks you have decided to visit (hopefully, all four!), you are in for a day full of fun and magic!
I'm happy to tell you that, yes, you can bring food and drinks with you into the theme parks! My family often brings water bottles and small snacks with us in our backpack. While you'll find me happily snacking on the foods offered at the Most Magical Place on Earth, my picky
kiddos appreciate some familiar snacks from home. It is important to keep everyone hydrated and energized! Plus, bringing in your own food is very budget-friendly!
There are a few prohibited items, so make sure to read up on the
Park Rules. A few common items to avoid include loose ice (ice packs or ice contained in a zipped bag is fine), glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), alcoholic beverages, and backpacks or bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Stay within the guidelines and you'll be all set!
I hope you have the BEST vacation, Kimberly! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
Tabitha
