Hiya, Amy! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question. I’ve visited Walt Disney World with babies, toddlers, kids, tweens, and teenagers, and I’ve learned that the key to a magical vacation is keeping them as rested, cool, and hydrated as possible. And the same goes for adults!
SeaBase Aquarium at EPCOT is a great spot to rest, and you can absolutely bring a snack or drink into the building while your little one naps. There are some
resort-wide rules regarding outside food and drink, such as no glass containers except for small containers like baby food jars, and certain attractions may prohibit food or beverages, but you’ll be fine for this undersea excursion. If you have any questions about a specific snack or food item, don’t hesitate to ask a Cast Member at Guest Relations or SeaBase while visiting.
All of my kiddos are now out of their nap time phase, but it wasn’t that long ago that my wife and I were always on the lookout for good nap spots while visiting the theme parks. Here are some of our favorite places to cool down and relax, in or out of the stroller.
-
Carousel of Progress at the Magic Kingdom
-
Finding Nemo: The Big Blue…and Beyond! at Animal Kingdom
-
Walt Disney Presents at Hollywood Studios
- The seating area across from
Sunshine Tree Terrace at the Magic Kingdom
I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit to EPCOT and Walt Disney World, Amy. Come right back to planDisney if you have any vacation planning questions, and be sure to check out the planDisney video library for tips and tricks on visiting with little ones.
Magical travels!
