Hi there, Denise! Welcome to planDisney.
It looks like to you are planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort very soon, so let's get right to your question. Folding chairs and stools are not permitted in any theme park, water park, or Disney Springs. Folding chairs are listed among the prohibited items in the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules.
I know that a Walt Disney World vacation entails a lot of time on your feet, and I have found ways to give my tired feet a break now and again. When I or someone in my party is in need of a bit of a rest, we look for a show where we can sit in the shade or air-conditioned comfort, or a longer attraction that gets us off our feet for a while. Planning a relaxing meal in the middle of the day, or even just using
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to grab a cool drink or snack and sit and relax a bit helps. You'll also find plenty of benches throughout the parks, and often there's an ice cream novelty cart located conveniently close by ;)
Denise, if you or someone in your party has a
mobility issue, wheelchairs and Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are
available to rent. Mobility devices that have seats attached, such as walkers or canes, may be permitted. I suggest reaching out to Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or disability.services@disneyparks.com for more information.
I am wishing you a wonderful visit! Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We are always happy to help.
