Hey Alandria,
Surf’s up, and welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you paid us a visit, and I’m honored to help you plan your girls’ birthdays at Walt Disney World! What a cool way to celebrate! It looks like your arrival date happens to be close to my own birthday - so I take deep pride in ensuring that your Leo princesses have the best birthday possible. Let’s dive in and get you some answers.
According to the
Disney World Property Rules, balloons are not permitted at
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park. However, I did a little research and found that my fellow panelist
Wes recently discovered that birthday banners are allowed. Additionally, I'm happy to float some other ideas your way. Consider decorating your Polar Patio with ribbons, crepe paper streamers, or any other small scale, safe decorations that won’t cause any damage and will be simple to clean up or take with you when you leave your Polar Patio for the day. Be sure to check in with your attendant when you arrive and let them know about your plans. I did chat with a cast member this evening who let me know that other decorations are permitted.
Aside from decorations, there are other cool ways to celebrate! You are allowed to bring outside food, so consider bringing in a
birthday cake and singing happy birthday! Avoid bringing candles, but do consider bringing your own plates and cutlery to serve and eat with. Don’t forget to stop by Guest Relations when you arrive to pick up celebration buttons for the girls to celebrate their birthdays! As their mom, I think it’s highly appropriate that you wear one, too!
Alandria, be sure to check out the
Know Before You Go section of the Blizzard Beach page on the Disney World website. It has great information you'll need for your water park day. I hope that this information helps you plan the most magical birthday celebration for your girls. Fun in the sun is certainly my idea of a spectacular birthday. If you need any additional help with planning, please come on back and let us know. We’ll see ya real soon!
Magically yours,
Sakinah
