Boo to you, Steve, and welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you sent your question our way.
October is a frightfully fun time to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. With cooler nights, autumn decor, and plenty of festive flavors, you're in for a couple of tricks and a
whole lot of treats when you visit Walt Disney World in the fall! And for the Chantilly cream on your pumpkin spice latte? The
2026 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, of course!
Steve, I can't tell from your question if you're planning for October of 2026 or 2027. But if we're looking at October of
this year, you will want to move fast! So let's jump right in and take a look at your options.
Now, there's nothing I love more than visiting Disney World with a group of my nearest and dearest. Whether it's extended family or a big group of friends (like
my most magical planDisney pals!), I get such a kick out of feeling the magic with all the people I love. I'm so excited that you're planning a stay with your favorite Mouseketeers, young and old. Some of my most cherished Disney World memories come from trips I took with my
young kids, the grandparents, and the rest of the clan in tow!
I understand wanting to stick together during your Disney adventure. And fortunately, there are some options to accommodate your party of seven! First of all, you'll find
Family Suites at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort and
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. These units can sleep 6 adults plus one infant under the age of three. Thanks to the makeup of your party, these could be the perfect fit for you! Considering the ages of the kids in your group, I highly suggest checking out Art of Animation. The resort's colorful, larger-than-life Disney decor (and its convenient location on the
Disney Skyliner) makes it an ideal choice for your family.
As an alternative, Disney World's
Deluxe Villa resorts also offer 2- and 3-bedroom villas that can fit your entire party. While these villas are more expensive than the Family Suites I mentioned, they also come with upgraded amenities, transportation options, and closer proximity to the theme parks.
Steve, you may find that availability is limited if you're planning for this October, so I highly suggest staying flexible. Don't forget that you can also book several standard rooms at any resort that strikes your fancy. While adjoining, connecting, or nearby rooms are never a guarantee, my family has had great luck with requesting this during the booking process.
I hope this helps, Steve, and that you enjoy a pixie-dusted stay with your entire royal entourage! If you have any other questions as you plot your big adventure, feel free to
write me directly right here at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Allison
