I would like to bring a family of 9 does Disney accommodate that large of a family?

    Welcome to planDisney!

One of my favorite kinds of Walt Disney World vacations is with a large family group. You'll love how many options you'll have to do so, too!

If you'd like your family to stay in one room, take a look at a Grand Villa at one of Disney's Deluxe Villa Resorts. Recently, we brought our family group of 9 and enjoyed a spectacular stay in a Grand Villa at Disney's Old Key West Resort. Boasting a full kitchen, four full bathrooms and three bedrooms, plus a washer/dryer in unit, there's room for up to 12 adults here. You'll love it!

Disney's Deluxe Villa Resorts also feature 2-Bedroom Villas that sleep 9 adults. Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, for example, offers two queen beds in the second bedroom, a king bed in the master bedroom, plus 1 queen-size pull down bed and a single-size pull down bed in the living area. You can't beat the location right next to Magic Kingdom Park, too!

Another fun option for a party of 9 is to book a Treehouse Villa at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. We've stayed in a Treehouse several times and loved it so much we copied the theming when remodeling our master bathroom! Away from the hustle and bustle, these secluded villas are the perfect place to relax after a long day of park fun.

If you don't mind splitting the party up into more than one room, Family Suites at several Walt Disney World resorts might be right for you. Disney's Art of Animation Resort, for example, features adorably-themed Family Suites that sleep up to 6 adults. Each suite offers a separate sleeping area, two full bathrooms, a sleeper sofa in the living area, a double-size table bed, and a kitchenette.

The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort - A Disney Vacation Club Resort could also be an option if you book two cabins. When staying with friends, we linked our reservations and requested that our cabins be located near each other. This resort has so many recreational activities, you may never want to leave!

Some additional ideas are listed right here as Options for 5 or More Guests, so take a look to see what's right for your family.

As you plan your visit for your party of 9, be sure to send your questions our way. We've been there, done that, and loved every minute of it. We'd love to help you enjoy the magic of a big group, too!
