Hi, I am bring extended family including three grandchildren, ages 2, 5 and 7. I am wondering what are the best dining shows for this age and what VIP dessert viewing you recommend for parade and fireworks? Kim

    Hi Kimberly!

How exciting that your whole family is going to Walt Disney World Resort! Your grandchildren are at the perfect ages to experience all of the wonder in store, and you'll have so much fun watching the magic come to life through their eyes. Be sure to use Disney's PhotoPass photographers, who are located all around Disney's Theme and Water Parks as well as Disney Springs, as they will capture the memories of your entire crew with both their professional equipment as well as your personal cameras.

My son recently turned three, and in May three of my mom-friends and I brought our collective five preschoolers for a week of Disney Fun. Regarding Dinner Shows: while I love Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue for so many reasons, I think your two and five-year-olds would have more fun at both Mickey's Backyard BBQ, where they can hang out and hoedown with Mickey and his pals, as well as Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, where they will be entranced by the traditional cultural dances of various pacific island nations. One number even includes a fire spinner!

As far as dessert parties or VIP viewing packages, I would book the Festival of Fantasy Parade Dining Package, the Frozen Ever After Dessert Party or the Happily Ever After Dessert Party. Fantasmic! and Rivers of Light both offer FastPass+ seating sections, whereas the other three do not. Bonus points go to the Festival of Fantasy package because without it you'll be looking for, and holding down, a prime piece of curb in the mid-afternoon sun.

We'll See You Real Soon, Kimberly!
