Can we bring empty small platic/metal water bottles for the family?

Yo, Catherine! I'm a big fan of hydration too. You bet you can bring water bottles into the parks. They can even be filled with water before you enter the parks (unlike airports' anti-water agendas.)

I find it's easier for water bottles to be empty in order to lessen the load you're carrying into the parks. I tend to be the dad who doesn't know his own limits strength.

You can fill up your water bottles at numerous drinking fountains within each park. Or, you can leave the water bottles at home and take advantage of this freebie: at all snack stands throughout the parks, if they serve fountain drinks, they'll hook you and the family up with a large cup of ice water free of charge.
