Can I bring an empty, non-Disney water bottle into the parks to refill with water throughout the day?

You bet your can, hydrated patriarch! I do the same thing, Chad. There are many drinking fountains around the parks where you can fill up.

If you don't want to carry your own water bottles, you can also get cups of ice water for free at any of the quick service and snack locations that have water/beverage dispensing capabilities.

One final suggestion. The majority of coffee at Disney World is terrible. It's hard to get a good pick me up once you're inside a park (especially in Magic Kingdom.) If you anticipate jones-ing for coffee, bring some Starbucks VIA ready brew packets with you. You can then mix it with ice water for the iced coffee effect or you can get a cup of hot water and procure a nice, hot cup of coffee.
