Welcome to planDisney, Frank! I'm happy to help you untangle any questions you have before you set sail with Captain Mickey.
As you finalize your packing list, it’s always a good idea to review the
Prohibited Items list to make sure all your gadgets are ship-shape for boarding. Electrical hair appliances like curling irons and flat irons are good to go. However, I confirmed with a Cast Member that Shark and Dyson appliances need to be left at home. Each stateroom does come equipped with a handy hand-held hairdryer. If you're bringing your own, it should be 230V and 450 watts or less.
Disney Cruise Line staterooms are designed with all the comforts of home in mind. You'll find ample storage, hangers, a mini refrigerator, and plenty of plugs scattered throughout your cabin. The outlets onboard are standard U.S. plugs, with a few European outlets available. I always recommend packing a multi-port USB charger for convenience. While there are USB outlets onboard, USB-C ports aren't yet part of the ship's setup. Remember, extension cords, power strips, and surge protectors are prohibited.
Speaking of tech, the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app will be your go-to entertainment guide for the cruise. You can favorite activities by tapping the heart icon next to it, which is super handy for planning your days. Plus, you'll have easy access to your personal itinerary.
I hope these tips make packing for your adventure at sea a breeze! Disney also has some helpful
packing advice you can check out before you zip up your suitcases. Safe travels and bon voyage!
SEAS the adventure!
