Can I bring drinks into the parks? I have a two year old and 5 yr. old.

Hey there, Roseann! Welcome back to planDisney!

You've been so busy making magical plans for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I'm just as pleased as Pluto that we've been able to help you. It won't be long now until your Disney dreams become reality!

Roseann, as a lifelong Floridian, I can tell you that it's important for everyone in your family to stay hydrated on a Florida summer day. With that in mind, you are absolutely welcome to bring drinks for Mouseketeers of all ages into the theme parks with you. In fact, you can even bring along your own food as long as it doesn't need to be heated up! That will be a big help when the little ones are getting restless and could use a break and a snack.

It looks like you're also planning to bring a stroller, which is perfect to stow a small soft-sided cooler or bag with your drinks and snacks. Just note that according to the park rules, all bags must be no larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, and you can't fill a cooler with loose ice. If you need to keep anything cool, my advice is to fill a small Ziploc bag with ice at your Resort hotel food court and tuck that in your cooler.

Only two more sleeps until your family is off to Walt Disney World, Roseann! Thank you for allowing planDisney to help you make your plans. If you use Instagram, please give us a follow at @plandisneypanel for lots more tips and advice. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
