Hey there, Miriam, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for your question - this is a great one to get sorted before you head to the Happiest Place on Earth.
The good news is that yes, you absolutely can bring food and drinks into the Disneyland Resort! I always pack a few snacks and water bottles for our family trips, especially with two young kids in tow. It makes a real difference when you're navigating a full day at the parks. That said, there are a few guidelines to keep in mind, and you can find the full details on the
Disneyland Resort Park Rules page.
Here's what you'll want to know before you start packing: loose ice, dry ice, and alcohol are not permitted in the parks. Food and beverages are allowed as long as they don't require heating or refrigeration (outside of a small personal-sized cooler or soft-sided insulated bag). Glass containers are also a no-go, with the exception of small baby food jars, so plan accordingly. You can bring a stroller to haul extra snacks if you're visiting with little ones, which I highly recommend!
I'd also suggest bringing a refillable water bottle since there are
water bottle filling stations throughout both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, which is a really easy way to stay hydrated without spending a dime.
Of course, even with snacks packed, you'll still want to leave room to indulge in some of the incredible food and drink options that the parks have to offer. Beignets at
Tiana's Palace, a Quantum Pretzel at
Pym Test Kitchen, and a Cold Brew Black Caf at
Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo are a few of my family's must haves when we visit!
Thanks again for your question, Miriam! I hope you have an absolutely magical visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
