Should I bring my double stroller for my 4 and 5 year old or rent one as needed? We are first timers, staying for a week, on Disney property.

Hi Lynda, Thanks for visiting the Disney Moms Panel!

I'm not sure what style double stroller you have, but generally I recommend bringing one with you. The only exception to this is if your stroller is not easily collapsible and you plan on using Disney transportation (the strollers need to fold up on the buses). Disney strollers are hard, molded plastic (in other words, not very comfortable). Our kids much prefer their own stroller which reclines for the rare nap. In addition, a double stroller at Disney rents for $31 per day ($27 per day for multiple day rental). This adds up quickly. You will find that you are going to be doing a LOT of walking and those little legs tire easily. I still bring our Maclaren side-by-side umbrella stroller and our youngest are 5 & 7 now (those hold up to 60 pounds per side). While my girls don't ride it in all the time, they sure appreciate the option to sit down (and Mommy and Daddy's back and shoulders appreciate not having to carry them). ;)

Hope this helps and that you have a magical first vacation to Disney World!
