We have a 1yo & a 5yo. We were going to bring our double stroller, but are worried about its bulk on the bus. We could bring 2 umbrella strollers, but then both of us will always have one. We could also rent. What do you suggest?

    Hi, Erin!

I would suggest bringing your own double stroller.  I know it is not fun folding it up for the bus, but it is so handy to have your stroller for around your resort, Downtown Disney, and even at the airport.  I also liked having my own stroller when my kids were very young (like your 1 year old) since they are familiar with the stroller, they are comfortable in it, and more likely to nap in a familiar spot if you do not make it back to your resort for nap time.

Many strollers will look alike so make sure to mark yours with a bright ribbon or other marking.  Also, strollers do need to be folded prior to boarding the buses, so become familiar with how to collapse it quickly!

I hope your kids have a great time in WDW!  They are at such great ages to enjoy all the magic!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
