Hi there, Marsha!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you will soon be strolling your way through the theme parks; how exciting! I always remember walking down Main Street, U.S.A. and the magic that everyone feels when they first see Cinderella Castle! And when you have little Mouseketeers with you, it’s just that much more magical!
To me, having a stroller at the theme parks is an absolute necessity! The last thing you want to have happen is little legs getting tired because for whatever reason, tired kids somehow become heavier and I certainly do not want to be carrying them through the theme parks! That is not magical for anyone! You can bring a double stroller with you to the theme parks, but please be advised that there are size limitations that you need to adhere to. Strollers cannot be larger than 31 inches wide and 52 inches long. Many double strollers do fit within these guidelines, but I recommend checking on the exact specifications of your stroller before bringing it with you. Often, many of the stroller companies will provide the dimensions online and some even note whether or not they meet Walt Disney World Resort’s
recently updated rules. If your stroller does not meet these requirements,
strollers are available to rent at the theme parks.
The
My Disney Experience Mobile app will be very helpful during your days at the theme parks. On it you will find updated wait times, transportation schedules, entertainment schedules and much more! You can also use it to order food so that it is ready when you arrive to pick it up! This is always a huge help for me when I have hungry littles and the idea of waiting in another line with them is not at the top of my list! Mobile Food Ordering to the rescue!
Wishing you a magical and memorable vacation, Marsha! Please come back with any other questions you may have as you continue preparing for your trip!
