Hi Ashli,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! How exciting, your trip will be here very soon!
When it comes to DJI OM 5 stabilizers, you’re more than welcome to bring them into the Theme Parks (since they don't extend). To my knowledge, you can record your memories on attractions! Remember, when recording you’re doing so at your own risk, so please be careful with your electronic devices so they don’t fall out of the attraction. The
Walt Disney World Resort rules state that you can’t bring in any selfie sticks or hand held extension poles. Tripods that can’t fit into a backpack or extend over six feet are also prohibited.
When my husband and I are in the Theme Parks, we bring both our DJI OM 4 and haven’t run into any issues! Keep in mind, you cannot record the security process. When you’re going through security, it’s better to have your camera equipment in your backpack so you can easily walk right to the Mickey turnstiles and enter the Theme Park!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your summer vacation in just a few weeks. If you have any other planning or vacation questions that come up,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
