Hi Susan! Welcome to planDisney!
Now is the perfect time to begin thinking about what you will need with you in the theme parks as you prepare to pack your bags and head to the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few days! I hope you have plans to visit the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your vacation. I have been drooling over the Outdoor Kitchen menus and dreaming of the incredible topiary displays. It is sure to be a festival to remember!
There is nothing quite like being well-prepared when you arrive for a day of fun in the Walt Disney World theme parks. A few things I always have with me are sunscreen, small handheld fans, ponchos, extra masks, extra socks,
theme park ticket cards or MagicBands, and my phone with the
My Disney Experience mobile app ready to go. When my kids were younger, we also brought in all our baby essentials, snacks, bottles or cups with lids, and a change of clothes. My fellow planDisney Panelists recently shared their
must-have items for the theme parks, so make sure to take a look at that!
It is easier to tell you what isn't allowed in the theme parks, so I'll list some of the things you want to avoid and you should also take a
look at the Park Rules for more clarification and a complete list. Prohibited items include loose ice (ice contained inside a water bottle or zipped bag is fine), alcoholic beverages, glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars), backpacks or bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high, all stroller wagons, and strollers larger than 31" wide and 52" long.
I hope this helps, Susan! Please let us know if you have any other last-minute planning questions.
