Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julie!
I see you arrived the Walt Disney World Resort yesterday, and I hope you are right in the middle of the magic right now! How wonderfully exciting.
Julie, by now you’ve probably stopped by your
resort hotel’s Quick-Service dining location to pick up your Resort Refillable Mug and have been enjoying all-you-care-to-sip refills of fountain soda, tea, coffee, and cocoa. I love those adorable souvenir mugs and the convenience of refilling them at my resort hotel.
The Resort Refillable Mugs can be refilled at select Quick-Service dining locations at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, but cannot be used for refills in theme park dining locations. You won’t be turned away from the theme parks if you have a mug in hand or in your backpack, and you will be able to fill the cup with water at Quick-Service dining locations, but the Resort Refillable Mug only entitles you to free refills at the resort hotels.
If you’ll be visiting the
Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks, there is a separate refillable mug available there. Once purchased, you’ll be able to bring it back to either
Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park or
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park for refills while enjoying those parks. This is separate, and also not eligible for refills in the theme parks, or at the resort hotels.
I hope this helps clear up any confusion. If you need assistance understanding where you can use your mug, please stop a Cast Member at your resort’s dining location or Front Desk, and they’ll be happy to assist you.
Have so much fun as you
“fall into magic” this autumn at the Walt Disney World Resort, Julie! Between the Mickey pumpkins lining Main Street, U.S.A. in Magic Kingdom Park, the spook-tacular delights at
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, and the sips and treats at the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, it’s a BOO-tiful time of year for a visit. Have the BEST time!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
