Hi, Susan!
I'm glad you sent your question to planDisney. It sounds like you may be visiting a Disney theme park before your cruise. What a magical vacation!
Bubble wands have been allowed on my past sailings, and they are not currently included on the
List of Prohibited Items, so you should be good to go unless the policy changes before your trip. I recommend packing them in your carry-on luggage in case security needs to take a look at them, and just keep in mind that port security has the final say on what can and cannot be brought on board. Also, as magical as bubbles are, they can make the floor a bit slippery on the ship, so it is best to use them with a little extra care.
If you are bringing a little one on your cruise, be sure to stop by the
youth clubs during open house hours. This is a great opportunity to explore the play areas with your child (which are so fun!) and chat with the youth counselors about any questions you have. My kids love spending time in the youth clubs because there are so many activities to experience and new friends to meet! While they are having their own fun, my spouse and I like to relax in the
adult-only areas, participate in a
Beverage Tasting, or enjoy a meal at
Palo. It's like having our own date night at sea!
Susan, have a wonderful trip! I hope you reach out to planDisney again if you have other questions!
Happy sailing!
Jen
