Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Cindy. I'm so glad you stopped by! It looks like you're heading to Magic Kingdom Park in just two, short days. That's super exciting!
Magic Kingdom Park is my absolute favorite of the four theme parks. As soon as I step onto Main Street, U.S.A., and see Cinderella Castle in the distance, I can't help but get teary-eyed. What can I say? It's just so magical!
I'm pleased to tell you that
you may certainly take a cooler of food and drinks into Magic Kingdom Park. Glass containers and alcoholic beverages are not permitted, but otherwise, you may pack just about anything else! Loose ice is also not permitted in the theme parks, so be sure to pack either reusable ice packs or ice in a sealed bag to keep your perishable items nice and cool.
Did you know there are lots of
Quick-Service dining options available at Magic Kingdom Park? These convenient locations offer lots of yummy meals and treats that you can enjoy without a reservation. Some of my family's favorites include
Casey's Corner,
Columbia Harbour House, and
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe. I very much recommend placing your orders at these restaurants using the
mobile food and beverage ordering feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app. This handy tool has saved my family lots of precious time!
Magic Kingdom Park recently observed its 50th birthday, and you're just in time to experience
The World's Most Magical Celebration. This 18-month long special event features lots of new magic in the theme parks, including
Disney Enchantment - the newest nighttime spectacular at Magic Kingdom Park. It's not to be missed!
I hope this was helpful, Cindy. I'm wishing you a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this week!
