Ahoy, Suzette!
Welcome back to planDisney! My crew and I sailed on
the Fantasy just last month, and we had an incredible day at Lookout Cay. You and your little Mouseketeers are in for an adventure that’s practically Hakuna Matata levels of carefree fun!
Now, let’s talk about your magical chariot—a.k.a. your collapsible wagon! You’re absolutely allowed to bring one along to help transport your little sailors and all their beach-day must-haves across
Lookout Cay. The key here is that it must be collapsible, and since you already nailed that detail, you’re smooth sailing! But if you’d rather save some luggage space (for all those irresistible souvenirs—because let’s be honest, who can resist the treasure troves of the
merchandise shops?), complimentary wagons are available at Lookout Cay. You’ll find them at the beginning and end of the pier as well as at the Goombay Cultural Center Tram Stop near the beaches, dining, and shopping areas. Just like boarding a Doom Buggy in the Haunted Mansion, these wagons are first-come, first-served—so if you go that route, you may want to grab one early.
Oh, and don’t worry about lugging towels from the ship—Disney has you covered! Towels will be available right off the tram, so you won’t have to pack extra weight when heading to the beach. Less to carry, more time to channel your inner Moana and see how far you’ll go across the island!
And since you’ve got a four-year-old in tow, you must check out Rush Out Gush Out! It’s a splash-tastic wonderland of slides, water drums, and fountains, and if your little one is anything like mine, they’ll want to spend hours making a splash! After that, cool off with some soft-serve ice cream at True-True BBQ—because let’s be real, it’s not a Disney beach day without a little extra magic!
Wishing you a Goofy amount of fun, a Mickey-sized dose of magic, and a Donald-level determination to grab the best beach spot!
Sea ya real soon with love in the air and magic everywhere,
Dustin
