Hey there, hi there, ho there, Micaela, you’re as welcome as can be to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I checked the Prohibited Items list on the
Disneyland Resort Rules, and found that unfortunately, folding chairs are not permitted inside the parks or the Downtown Disney District. However, there would be an exception made for a cane-chair or a seat-walker mobility aid. Also, backpacks must be no larger than 24” long by 15” wide by 18” high. If you have any other questions about what is and isn’t allowed inside the parks, just check this handy
Resort Rules list.
If you find yourself needing more assistance with getting around the parks, I recommend renting an
Electronic Conveyance Vehicle (ECV) or
wheelchair. Keep in mind that wheelchairs and ECVs are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and can be found to the right of the Main Entrance of Disneyland Park, near Stroller Rentals. These are both great options for making your Disney day more comfortable and stress-free.
There’s so much to see and do at the Disneyland Resort right now! My family recently enjoyed
“Tale of the Lion King,” in Disney California Adventure Park – the music, story, and acting were top-notch! I recommend viewing the musical production earlier in the morning, or later in the afternoon if it’s a warmer day, as there isn’t much shade. Also, be sure to check out
Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, which recently opened on Pixar Pier… it’s a colorful, cute attraction for all ages!
Wishing you a magical day at the Happiest Place on Earth!
