Hello, Tessa!
I’m glad you are planning ahead and researching the
Disneyland Resort Rules. These rules are important for keeping The Happiest Place on Earth safe and comfortable for all Guests.
Mobility aids such as cane-chairs and seat-walkers are permitted in the Disneyland Resort. However, chairs, stools, and other such devices are
not permitted in the Disneyland Resort theme parks or the
Downtown Disney District. Such items will be denied entry at the security checkpoints. Guests may choose to return them to their hotel or vehicle or they may turn them over to be confiscated at security.
Tony’s Tip: Guests who may need a little help with moving around the Disneyland Resort may
rent a wheelchair or Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) from the facility just outside the entrance of Disneyland Park. And if you are looking for a quiet place to sit and relax where there are almost always chairs available, I recommend the space under the monorail track behind
Edelweiss Snacks in Disneyland Park. Or in
Disney California Adventure Park, I recommend finding a seat at the Hollywood Backlot Stage in
Hollywood Land.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Tessa!
~Tony
