    Can you bring a clothes steamer on the cruise ship?

    Hi there, Janice!

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  It looks like you are gearing up for a voyage on the Disney Magic and I imagine you are getting excited!!  My family’s very first Disney Cruise Line vacation was aboard the Magic and it holds very special memories for us!  The Disney Magic has recently undergone some renovations and the new Rapunzel’s Royal Table main dining restaurant is so much fun!  Dinner accompanied with entertainment and special visits by the Princess herself make it a very fun and lively dinner service!

    Disney Cruise Line prohibits guests from bringing clothes steamers and irons onboard with them for use in their stateroom.  But, there are complimentary irons available for Guest use in the onboard laundry rooms which can be found on Decks 2, 6 and 7.  Disney Cruise Line also offers full-service laundry service and if you only need items pressed, the cost is 50% of the normal dry-cleaning fee (per item).  There have been times that I have opted to do this when I’m too busy having too much fun onboard!  I leave it in the stateroom and my host or hostess delivers it back pressed the following day!  Rush service is also available if needed.  Another thing I have found to be a great help is a wrinkle release spray -- it definitely helps when in a pinch!  Just spray and hang clothes on a hook in the bathroom while showering and wrinkles begone!
