Hi, can I bring ceramic plate and/or mug to use with the characters - for their autographs? I know we can't bring glass items, so I am not sure. Thank you!

    Bonjour Caroline,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a great question!

I’ve read the Walt Disney World Resort Park Rules and it seems as though the only truly prohibited items of this kind are glass containers. Because there are several ceramic items, including mugs, for sale in the merchandise locations in the Theme Parks, I believe that ceramic mugs should be ok, especially if they’re clearly to be signed by the various Disney characters that you plan to meet.

My big tip would be to make sure that you have something soft to pack these items in so that they don’t get chipped or broken throughout your travels. Another good tip would be to hold them for the characters when they’re signing them as they can get kind of bulky and hard to hold.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également nous poser des questions en français!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
