Ahoy there, Elizabeth!
So glad that you POPPED by planDisney today. It makes us positively BUBBLY to answer vacation planning questions.
Disney Cruise Line's
alcohol policy allows Guests 21 years or older to bring a maximum of 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the voyage and at each port of call. This policy is pretty strictly applied, so if you truly want the sparkling wine and it is only available in 12-ounce cans, then you would be limited to bringing two onboard. I think your better bet would be to bring two full bottles of wine (750-liter maximum each). Also, make sure when carrying alcohol onboard, you follow the steps outlined. When you arrive at the port, keep any wine or beer with you in your carry-on luggage and NOT in your checked luggage.
I do recommend the
nightclubs and lounges onboard for their ambiance and beverage options. Since you are a sparkling wine kind of gal, I highly recommend checking out
Ooh La La on the Disney Fantasy and
Pink: Wine and Champagne Bar on the Disney Dream.
For an activity that’s loads of fun and beverage-centered, sign up for a
Beverage Tasting. These seminars are both informative and interactive. You will learn about the making of and origins of some popular wines, beers, and/or spirits. I’m thinking you will enjoy either the Champagne Tasting or the Stem-to-Stern Wine Tasting.
Feel free to UNCORK more cruise planning questions and send them our way. A toast to you having the most wonderful Disney cruise ever!
ChEARs!
