Can I bring a cane/walking stick into Walt Disney World?

    Hi Thomas! Welcome to planDisney.

In two short days, you will be immersed in The World's Most Magical Celebration at Walt Disney World Resort. This party continues through March 2023 with specialty-themed treats found in theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. At Disney's Hollywood Studios, look for the popular Glimmer and Shimmer Blondie at Backlot Express.

You are more than welcome to bring your cane to the Walt Disney World Resort. Please note, visiting Walt Disney World Resort is quite a physical undertaking. If mobility is an issue, I highly recommend utilizing Wheelchair or Electrical Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) Rentals. These can be found at all theme parks and Disney Springs close to the entry gates. While you cannot bring your rental outside of the parks or Disney Springs, on same-day rentals, you simply show a Cast Member your receipt for another rental.

If you are staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, consider using Disney's Feature Provider, Scooterbug for your Wheelchair or Scooter Rentals. When using their services, you do not need to be present for the delivery of your scooter. Bell Services will gladly accept and return your ride for you. Bonus plan, you get to keep your scooter for use on transportation and at the resort. I have personally used their services for my father and was very happy with them. Scroll down the Electronic Conveyance Vehicle link I provided above for a direct online link from Disney. Protip, bring a colorful ribbon or bandana to tie to your ride to help identify it in a sea of similar-looking vehicles.

    Keeping it Magical,
    Cindy
