Can I bring a cane with a fold down seat

Hiya, Patti! Welcome back to planDisney!

It looks like your visit to Walt Disney World is right around the corner. How exciting! You’ll be immersed in the magic of the Vacation Kingdom of the World (and enjoying all the Mickey-shaped treats your heart desires) before you know it.

I’m happy to share that you can bring a cane with fold-down seat. While the Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules mention that folding chairs are not allowed in any theme park, water park, or at Disney Springs, I found that cane chairs and walkers with seats are allowed based on the information on this Accessing Attraction Queues page. Just keep in mind that Security Cast Members may ask to inspect your cane when entering a theme park, and be mindful not to block any sidewalks, entrances, halls, or other guest pathways.

If you need assistance navigating Walt Disney World during your upcoming visit, I’d suggest reviewing the Services for Guests with Mobility Needs page or calling the Non-Reservation Support phone line to speak with a helpful Cast Member.

You’ve picked a great time to visit Walt Disney World, Patti. The EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom with its beautiful topiaries, special food offerings, and the Garden Rocks concert series. You can preview all the springtime fun on the Disney Parks Blog.

Pop right back if you have more vacation-planning questions or need any recommendations. Your planDisney pals are here to help!

    Magical travels!
