Can we bring camping meals that does not need a microwave but has it's own flameless heater. In to all Disney parks?

Hi, Amber! Thanks for coming to see us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I must admit, I had to do a little digging and research on these flameless heater meals! They seem like a great addition to my summer camping trips! Seeing as though this seems to be relatively new technology, I have to give you the mediocre answer of “maybe”. Before entering a Disney Theme Park, all bags are inspected and it will be at the discretion of the Cast Member whether or not to allow your item. It is my understanding that you need only add water to a pouch and your food heats itself up, correct? There may be safety concerns due to certain chemicals being used. In order to avoid disappointment and having to waste your pre-packaged meal, I would suggest bringing an alternative cold option that does not require heating. Better yet, why not take advantage of the Disney Dining Plan and prepay for all of your meals. If you are concerned that there will be foods available to you due to a dietary restriction, I can assure you that Walt Disney World Resort truly goes above and beyond to provide quality food to all Guests.

You can view more information about prohibited items as well as dietary restrictions straight from the Mouse’s mouth on the Walt Disney World Resort website.

Have a wonderful vacation and please come and see us again soon,
