Can we bring bottled water onboard the day of arrival?

    Boo to you, Brandie!

I’m thrilled to hEAR that you will be setting sail on the Disney Wonder in October. Well, I’m using my powers of deduction based on your dates and the fact that you are in California. A 4-night Halloween on the High Seas Baja cruise from San Diego sounds SPOOKtacular! Get ready to be wowed by all the magical holiday touches on this magnificent ship, including the Pumpkin Tree.

No spell necessary for this question! You can totally carry bottled water with you onboard...so long as it’s unopened and also in your carry-on luggage and not in your checked luggage. If you are bringing a whole case of water, that may require splitting up the bottles among all the carry on luggage because that would make for one super heavy bag. Nobody wants to throw out their back on the first day of their Disney cruise!

That said, you may prefer to order a water bottle package instead. Disney Cruise Line will deliver the water bottles directly to your stateroom, and you don’t have to worry about carrying it onboard with you! Orders can be placed up to three days prior to sailing through Onboard Gifts or once onboard.

Another idea that will keep the heavy lifting to a minimum is to bring refillable water bottles onboard. There are multiple Beverage Stations on each ship that have water available. For current health and safety reasons, Cast Members will assist by giving you the water in cups and then you will fill the bottle yourself.

Brandie, say “Hocus Pocus” and the planDisney sisters and brothers will be ready to assist you quicker than the Sanderson Sisters can appear. Have a blast on your sailing...and beware of hitchhiking ghosts!

    Happy Haunting!
