Hello there, Thomas!
Welcome to planDisney. Thank you for visiting us with your question as you prepare for your upcoming Disney adventure at sea. Oh boy! It's not long till you will be sailing away. It will be a great moment when you are welcomed aboard, so have your camera ready to capture those memories.
Yes, you are allowed to bring bottled water or canned soda with you onboard the ship, as long as you carry it onboard with you in your carry-on luggage. It's a great idea to disperse it amongst your travel party so no one has luggage that is uncomfortable to carry while you wait for your stateroom to be available after boarding. My family likes to step onboard, eat a delicious lunch, visit our stateroom and make a quick change into our swimsuits (pack those in your carry-on as well) for a chance to splash in the pool shortly after boarding. It's our routine and the way we like to dive right into our vacation.
However you choose to spend those first few hours onboard, I hope that you find them as relaxing as I do. There's nothing quite like leaving all of the cooking, cleaning, and entertaining to the incredible Crew Members onboard. I recommend that you download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before leaving home so that once you step on the ship, you'll be able to use the app to see all of the entertainment and activities that are scheduled for your voyage. If you see something listed that you just don't want to miss, click the heart icon next to the activity. The app will send a gentle reminder a few minutes before the fun will begin!
Have an amazing Disney Cruise! Please cruise our way again if you have any further questions. It would be a pleasure to assist you.
Bon Voyage,
Adrianna
