Hi there, Ava. Welcome to
planDisney. Thanks for bringing this awesome question to us!
I took a quick look through the
Disneyland Park Rules, and there isn’t anything that specifically indicates it would be an issue to wear your headphones into the park. The rules do state, “We reserve the right to prohibit the use or storage of any other item not listed above that we determine may be harmful or disruptive, in our sole and absolute discretion.” I can’t really think how wearing headphones would be disruptive, so as long as you’re being considerate of the guests around you, go for it.
I will say that the sounds of the
Disneyland Resort are what complete the magic! You’ll definitely want to pull your headphones off if the Straw Hatters or the
Dapper Dans are out and about near Town Square. Is
Cars Land complete with the doo-wop songs playing over the loudspeakers? And what happens if you’re riding
Matterhorn Bobsleds and you miss the announcement “¡Permanecer sentados, por favor!”? You might not permanecer sentados! So yes, you can definitely wear your headphones. Just be ready to keep an ear out for the magical sounds as well.
Ava, I’m not sure when you’re coming, but there is so much to look forward to in the next few months. Did you know that in just a couple of weeks, the
new mission for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, featuring Mando and Grogu, launches into action? There is also an update in
California Adventure for
Soarin’ Across America. This new version will be cleared for flight on July 2nd and will feature an update from our favorite Chief Flight Attendant.
Ava, I hope you have an excellent trip and make many magical memories. If you have more questions, want some recommendations, or just need help planning, come right back to
planDisney. We’ve got you!
I hope you have a magical day!
Corey
