Hi there, Randyl!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I love that you are thinking ahead to your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation to ensure that you are properly equipped for long, full days in the theme parks because while it may seem far off now, I bet it will be here before you know it!
I always carry a full-sized backpack with me into the theme parks and ensure that it is filled with the essentials -- sunscreen, hand sanitizer wipes, water and snacks! To me, a backpack is the easiest way to ensure you have all you need for a day in the theme parks and it’s easy to place it safely in between your feet or in another designated spot when on an attraction! If you opt to not carry a backpack,
park rules allow Guests to bring in suitcases or bags as long as they are not larger than 24 inches long x 15 inches wide x 18 inches high. If you find that you get tired of carting around your backpack, there are
lockers available to rent at each of the theme parks where you can safely stow away your belongings for the day.
Before your magical vacation arrives, be sure you have the
My Disney Experience Mobile app downloaded to your smartphone! You can use it now to make advanced dining reservations and secure FastPass+ selections and then once you’re at the theme parks you can find updated wait times, maps, transportation schedules and more!
Have the most magical and memorable vacation EVER!! Please come back with any other questions you may have as your planning continues.
