Hi there, Ruth! Thanks for stopping by with your question. We're glad you are here!
My family and I always carry a backpack when we visit the
Happiest Place on Earth. It's perfect for holding a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and jackets. While it's always good to check the
Permitted Items List before a visit, the current list states that "backpacks or similar bags larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high" are not permitted. So, Ruth, just make sure your backpack is smaller than those dimensions, and you should be good to go! Also, you and your backpack will need to go through a security screening area before entering either theme park. I recommend giving yourself extra time for this, especially if you are trying to get there for the park opening.
If you find that a long day of Disney fun makes that backpack feel extra heavy,
locker rentals are available just outside and inside each theme park. The best part? Lockers come in several sizes and allow you to set a unique combo that gives you access to the locker for the whole day.
Ruth, thanks again for stopping by. Please
visit planDisney again with any other questions!
See ya real soon,
Melissa
