Hi, can I bring a backpack that’s a cooler with water and small snacks like fruits and veggies? I keep hearing that I am not allowed to bring food inside the parks.

Hello there! Welcome to planDisney, Dielisse! I’m so glad to be able to help you today!

Can you believe that your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is now less than two short months away? I know that may seem like a long time, but I promise it will be here before you know it! So, I'm glad you stopped by with your question so we can help you wrap up those last few details before you set off on the adventure of a lifetime!

I am happy to share that you can bring food and snacks into the parks to keep your family all fueled up as you enjoy your day! However, you must ensure that the food is not stored in glass containers and that the backpack cooler you’re carrying the snacks in does not exceed 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high. Otherwise, you are good to go! Great news, right?

Of course, there are also so many incredible snacks available throughout all four theme parks. So, I definitely recommend saving your appetite to try at least one during your stay. If I had to pick, I’d say go with a classic and pick up a DOLE Whip from Aloha Isle in Magic Kingdom Park. You really cannot beat this refreshing tropical treat on a hot Disney afternoon!

I hope this answer has been helpful for you! We are a big bunch of Disney foodies here at planDisney, so please feel free to stop by again with another question if you'd like to hear some more of our snack recommendations.

    See you soon!
