Hiya Leroy,
Welcome to planDisney! I hope you are getting excited about your upcoming visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. The incredible
50th Anniversary Celebration is about to come to an end at Walt Disney World Resort, but your visit falls during the last few weeks. There are so many amazing things going on just for the celebration, so be sure to take it all in.
While I’ve never taken a backpack stool to Walt Disney World Resort, I seriously looked into it when I visited the Theme Parks 6 months pregnant. I learned that according to the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, folding chairs are prohibited inside the Theme Parks. I spoke to a Cast Member because I wasn’t 100% sure if a backpack stool was counted under that classification, and unfortunately, yes, it is. I recommend not bringing it with you to the Theme Parks so that you don’t have to worry about it being allowed in.
I wish I could’ve given you a different answer, Leroy. I know that visiting Walt Disney World Resort can be a lot physically, but remember, it is a marathon, not a sprint. Please take advantage of the sit-down attractions (my favorite is the
Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress), benches, and snack breaks throughout your day. Disney miles are magical, but they do sneak up on you.
Please come back and see us if there is anything else we can help you with.
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
