Hi Julie! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you found us to ask this great question about visiting Disney Parks on both coasts!
I like the way you plan vacations, and celebrating a birthday is so much fun when it involves the magic of Disney! As someone who loves to vacation at the
Walt Disney World Resort and the
Disneyland Resort, I sure do miss that pretty gold Premier Passport! Our family loved the convenience of choosing which
Disney Parks to visit when we had that particular annual pass. I wish I could say for certain, but unfortunately, we don't know if the Premier Passport will ever return. My advice is to do the math if you were to purchase a
Walt Disney World Resort Annual Pass, as well as a
Disneyland Resort Magic Key Pass (new sales are currently paused), and determine how many times you would visit in a year. If you feel you would be able to visit multiple times on each coast, it would likely make sense to have both annual passes.
As you're planning your
Disney Cruise Line vacation, I highly recommend
sending your questions to my friend and fellow panelist, Adrianna! She is so incredibly knowledgeable about cruising with Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse! She also has amazing tips, and I know she would love to help you. If you have planning questions about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or the Disneyland Resort, you've got a friend in us, and we would love to help you at
planDisney! We can't wait for you to be our guest!
Happy Planning!
Smiles,
Lisa
