Can I bring a back pack into Disney?

    Hiya, Jenifer!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR!

Oh boy! Jenifer, you're just days away from visiting Mickey and all of his pals at The Happiest Place on Earth! I know you must be getting oh so excited! Be sure to check out the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide to all of the Halloween sweets, treats, and eats, as well as what else you can expect during this boo-tiful time of yEAR!

Yes, Guests are more than welcome to bring a backpack with them inside both Disneyland Park as well as Disney California Adventure Park. Feel free to bring snacks, a refillable water bottle, a jacket or poncho, and even a few fun insta-worthy backup outfits. Do know that your bag will be subjected to a security check and that there are a few prohibited outside items, like glass containers and outside alcohol.

Bonus Tip: While there are Locker Rentals available at the front of each theme park, I'm very happy to share that unlike other theme and amusement parks in the area which have mandated locker policies for some rides, you're more than welcome to bring your belongings on board with you at every attraction - even the looping Incredicoaster! (Just put your legs through the straps and you'll be fine.)

I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Jenifer, and better plan your upcoming Disney day! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account where we're sharing even more tips and tricks.
