Hello, Pauline, and welcome back to planDisney!
I’m glad you decided to check the
alcohol policy before your cruise. It's always a good idea to be prepared so there are no surprises when you board. As you know, guests 21 years and older can bring up to two unopened bottles of wine or champagne OR 6 cans of beer in their carry-on luggage at the beginning of their voyage and at each port of call.
Anything over the allowed amount will be discarded. You definitely don’t want to pack any alcohol in your checked luggage; not only could you end up with a suitcase full of wet clothes, but it will be removed and discarded. Alcohol purchased in ports of call over your limit will be stored until the end of the cruise.
There are drink specials and Happy Hour times onboard, and if you're looking to try something new,
Beverage Tastings are a great way to do it. I especially loved the Chocolate & Liquor Tasting, where each chocolate was expertly paired with a drink. It was a truly delicious experience! You can find all the details about Beverage Tastings under Onboard Fun.
While we're on the topic of
prohibited items, please leave behind any electric irons and steamers, as well as extension cords and power strips. Each ship has
self-serve laundry rooms equipped with irons for your convenience. If you have a lot of gadgets to charge, you can bring a multi-port charger with USB or USB-C ports only.
With all these tips in mind, I hope it’s smooth sailing ahead! Get ready to relax, have fun, and make magical memories with your family!
SEAS the adventure!
