Hi there, Michele!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It appEARs that you are headed to the high seas so soon and that is so very exciting! I don’t know about you, but once my suitcase is out and the packing begins, vacation is ALL I can think about! It can’t get here soon enough…but then, unfortunately, it manages to be over all too soon!
Disney Cruise Line allows Guests to bring onboard alcohol (wine or beer), if they choose to…which is so nice and convenient for many! The
alcohol policy states that Guests 21 years and older may bring onboard UP TO two unopened bottles of wine (750ml max each) OR 6 unopened bottles of beer (12ml max each) at embarkation and at each port thereafter. Therefore, if there are two adults in your travel party, you can bring up to 4 bottles of wine OR 12 bottles of beer when you get onboard and then you can also bring on more when you visit a port of call. My husband always likes to sample local brews so he will often pick up some local beer when we stop at a port and then bring it back onboard with him at the end of our day on land. Just be sure that when you arrive at the port for embarkation you keep any wine or beer with you in your carry-on luggage and NOT in your checked luggage!
Speaking of checked luggage, you’ve surely received your “Mickey Mail” by now with your cruise documents and
luggage tags. I recommend waiting to affix those to your checked luggage until right before you head to the port for embarkation. That way they don’t get mistakenly removed or damaged.
Wishing you the most magical and memorable adventure ever!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
