If I bring my ADA-qualified Service Dog with me, but want to give her a break from the parks, is there transportation available to get her to and from the kennel? We will be flying and won't have a vehicle with us.

    Hello Ann!

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having a wonderful time planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

I have heard such incredible things about the Best Friends Pet Care center and it looks like a great place to give your pup a little down time from the parks. I did a little research and unfortunately, it looks like there is no complimentary Disney transportation available to or from the center. If you will be a Guest of one of the participating Walt Disney World Resort Hotels, you should be able to use the new Minnie Van Service to get there. An alternate option would be using a taxi, Uber or Lyft. To help on the cost of these three services, the Best Friends Pet Care center is located close to Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, so you could first take complimentary transportation there and then request your pick-up.

You will find Service Animal Relief Areas as well as some shady spots your dog will be able to rest and cool off in at all four theme parks.  There is a helpful map of these areas located through the link above.

Have a wonderful vacation, Ann, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
