Ahoy there, Virge. Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for taking the time to stop by with your question for us.
Disney Cruise Line
allows Guests 21 years and older to bring up to 2 bottles of unopened wine or champagne/sparkling wine (no larger than 750 ml) or 6 beers (no larger than 12 ounces) on board at the beginning of the cruise for personal use. Please keep in mind that you’re not able to bring liquors or spirits onboard for personal use. At port of calls, if you purchase spirits or liquors,
Disney Cruise Line crew members will take these for storage until the end of your cruise.
When bringing beer or wine onboard during Embarkation Day, be sure they’re in your carry-on and not checked luggage. Once you’ve settled in your stateroom, you can ask your stateroom host for wine glasses as well as a wine opener. There’s also a mini fridge in your stateroom for you to store your drinks to keep them cool.
During your sailing, there are also several bars and lounges where you can purchase and enjoy alcoholic beverages. These venues usually will have Happy Hours that offer discounts on select drinks. On my last cruise on board the
Disney Fantasy, I enjoyed some bubbly during Happy Hour at
Ooh La La, which happened after our second seating dinner. Once you’re aboard, be sure to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for details on which lounge is offering Happy Hour.
If you have more trip planning questions, Virge, please feel free to sail by

Bon voyage,
Kiki
