    Brigitta I was reading a question about the Scrapbbok store in DD. In this email you said that the scrapbook store isn't closing, but I just saw on another website that it is closed and is going to open up as a tee shirt shop. Is that true?

    Hi there,

    You are right about the store closing (or already having closed).  It will reopen as a T-Shirt store where guests will be able to design their own shirts (I think!).  Unfortunately, I was writing my answer to the other guest based on my personal experience with this store and although I did research it thoroughly before writing my answer, I could not come up with any concrete proof that the store had closed, was closing, or plans to reopen it and as what since I had last been there!  I googled it, I looked at all the popular sites out there for recent upgrades to this information and I checked the WDW website (where it is still listed as a store to visit in Downtown Disney by the way!).  The only mistake I may have made in my answer was the timing of my last time being in there as a shopper, I was pretty sure it was last July/August, but it could have been the trip I made before that!?!? I also did say "to the best of my knowledge I haven't heard anything about it closing or relocating" thinking that would cover my answer in case I had missed some information somewhere.  Unfortunately, the WDW website can be a bit behind when it comes to keeping up with updates such as these and it does become hard sometimes for us to "keep up" with not much help, so I apologize if I have misled anyone about this store still being operational.  As Hannah Montana would say (or sing)...."Everybody makes mistakes sometimes!!!!".  Have a magical day!
