Hi Brigitta, love your advise! GS & I want to enjoy MK while eveyone is watching the fireworks on Aug 8 because we are going on the P&P Voyage on Aug 9. My ? will the MK train be running in case we want to leave without trying to get through the cr

    Hi Cynthia,

From my past experiences, the train runs until just before the fireworks start (for security purposes I have been told that the train cannot operate while the fireworks are going on).  What I was not sure of, was whether or not the train regained operations after the fireworks had finished???  After checking I found out that the train does not operate at all after it has closed just before the fireworks show.  Therefor, if you happen to be there on an evening when the park is offering the Extra Magic Hours, don't expect the train to start up again for easy access to the entrance and avoid crowds because you will be standing there waiting for a very long time (LOL).

I also wanted to wish you a happy sailing for the Pirate and Pals Fireworks Voyage.  If you've never experienced this, I can assure you that you will have the best time ever!  Not only will you get an absolutely amazing view of the fireworks from the lake on your private boat, but you will laugh like you've never laughed before.  I have sailed the P&P Fireworks Voyage a few times now and I still look forward to it whenever I can experience it.  Have a really magical time in Magic Kingdom and have a most memorable water voyage.

    Bon Voyage,
    Brigitta
