Hi Brigitta - have you ever driven to WDW? If so, what are your strategies and how long does it take?

    Hi Charlotte,

I have driven to Florida but not from B.C. (I think that would probably take 10 days or more of fearless driving, I am not sure my daughter would enjoy that too much!).  I used to live in Toronto and from there I have driven many times to Walt Disney World.  Once, (in my younger days, before my daughter was born!)  I even drove down there for a long weekend, it only took 26 hours of straight driving with bathroom breaks, quick food stops and loud music!!!!

My strategies are simple:  If you live on the West coast, fly!  From the East coast, there is no problem with driving if you want to see the sights on the way for about 2-3 days.  I believe that with gas prices on the rise and air travel fees very low most of the time from the East coast  you would save more money flying! (I have seen flights as low as $70.00 return from Toronto to Orlando).

Have a great day, and thank you for your question.
